I hear that one of the most popular is Sony Vegas, alternatively try Adobe Premiere or if you're of the Mac persuasion try iMovie - comes with all new macs
the one that comes on the apple macbook i heard is pretty good. my friend uses it and his videos turn out fantastic.

I have Sony Vegas and it works great, its expensive but you can get it free if you cant afford it.
